TEAM BRAY RACING
In 2017, Gulf Western Oil will join forces with Team Bray Racing which consists of Victor “The King of Top Doorslammer” Bray and Ben aka “The Kid” Bray.
This multi-year sponsorship deal consists of 5 cars in total – two Top Door Slammers, two burnout cars and a violently fast turbocharged six cylinder powered Toyota.
Drag Racing fans, stay tuned for what is going to be an amazing journey.

- Billet BAE engine block with billet NRE Blackhawk heads
- PSI supercharger overdriven at 2.08% over engine rpm
- 44 amp MSD magneto
- Chance billet torque converter
- B&J converter drive with 3 speed Lenco transmission.
- 5.95 seconds @ 247 mph
Ben’s 1979 Corvette Stingray Doorslammer
- Built by Anderson Race cars
- Engine is a 502 CI Chrysler Hemi
- Billet BAE engine block with billet NRE Super 60 heads
- PSI supercharger overdriven at 2.08% over engine rpm
- 44 amp MSD magneto
- Chance billet ‘lock up’ torque converter
- Bruno converter drive with 3 speed Lenco transmission
- 5.79 seconds @ 253 mph
